KMSG Executive Leadership to Present at the Potomac Forum EVM Workshop

Workshop for Agency Executives at the Willard InterContinental Hotel on March 23rd and 24th

The instructors, Kevin Martin and Mark Troisi, are thought leaders in EVM and have over 50 years of combined experience. Mr. Martin is a nationally recognized presenter of EVM and PMI College of Performance Measurement board member. Mr. Troisi has implemented EVM Systems for Government Agencies, the Department of Defense, and Contractors.

KMSG is a registered education provider for the Project Management Institute (PMI) and PDU credits will be offered for this workshop. In addition to learning EVM fundamentals, students will be presented with practical examples of how EVM can easily be implemented to provide an early warning system for project problems.

One new session for this workshop is: "EVMS: How do I get there from here?" Mr. Troisi will address the challenge of finding the right balance between implementation speed and a quality EVM system. Students can expect to learn strategies for overcoming the common barriers for implementing EVM on contracts, projects, and programs.

The two-day workshop will provide hands-on, practical training that also addresses the latest changes to OMB policy, as well has how to integrate project systems data with the Federal IT Dashboard. A detailed list of the topics can be found on the Potomac Forum website.

The workshop is ideal for a wide range of project management professionals, including:

  • Agency Executives who are accountable for Project Performance
  • Program/Project Managers/Project Analysts
  • Industry Partners who must implement EVM for their projects/programs
