Navy Seaport-E Contract


Team KM Systems Group (Team KMSG) announces the award of Seaport-E contract #N00178-15-D-8294. Team KMSG provides the benefit of working with a small business team and having direct “line of site” accountability by senior executives who are committed to the success of Navy Sea Systems Commands and the Navy Virtual SYSCOM Programs.

KMSG President, Mr. Kevin Martin, retired United States Navy Lieutenant Commander, served in multiple shipboard engineering leadership and management positions onboard US Naval warships, including Chief Engineer and Communications Officer. He was assigned as a Project Manager for the development and deployment of shipboard telecommunications systems.

Seaport-E Quality Assurance Program    

Team KMSG is committed to continuously improving our processes and providing customers with established, repeatable processes.  The SPM will also perform as Quality Assurance Manager and will oversee all quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures.   The KMSG QA plan will include how to address errors (quality-related events) and how to improve practice before an error occurs (continuous quality improvement).  For SeaPort-E the QA plan will provide processes:

  • To effectively document quality-related events (QREs) and educate staff appropriately
  • Identify quality related parameters we would like to measure and improve
  • Design a method to measure the identified areas and set appropriate goals
  • Educate Team KMSG staff on the QA plan

We will support Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP) providing quality assurance for performance based service contract (PBSC) standards included in this contract and in subsequent task orders.
