Earned Value Management Systems

In this era of greater accountability and discipline, Federal Agencies and Commercial Organizations seek ways to drive the greatest possible return on their capital investments. EVMS Design & Implementation

KMSG offers a complete approach to implementing an ANSI/EIA-748 compliant EVMS including: current state assessment, requirements analysis, system design, software installation and configuration, and system integration.

Capabilities:

  • Current State Assessment: Examine and evaluate the current state of the customer’s project management practices, earned value processes, and supporting business systems.
  • EVMS Requirements Analysis: Develop a comprehensive set of requirements for the implementation, including measurable standards required for IT support.
  • EVM System Design: Addresses the people, processes, and technology requirements specific to each client’s needs.
  • EVMS Implementation Rapid-Prototype: Templates for business processes, system configuration, and a roadmap to achieve ANSI/EIA-748 EVM compliance.

EVMS Software & Training

KMSG is a designated reseller of Deltek’s Integrated Program Management (IPM) software solutions. Deltek’s IPM solutions are an integrated suite of software applications for government agencies and government contractors that require a compliant solution for ANSI/EIA 748 EVMS requirements.

Solutions:

  • Deltek’s Open Plan, Cobra, MPM, and wInsight solutions integrate cost, schedule, and resource information, providing program teams with reliable program status and earned value reports.
  • Deltek’s new PM Compass solution is designed to remedy the distributed program management processes that plague many government contractors today.
  • EVM Software training for Deltek MPM, Cobra, and wInsight. Training includes setup, the training dataset, and course materials.


EVMS Support

KMSG provides staff support of the ongoing daily operation of the EVMS. Our broad EVM experience allows us to seamlessly adapt our customers’ EVM and project management processes and procedures to support the customer reporting cycle. We work closely with the project team and support staff to ensure the most effective and efficient use of the client EVMS to enhance the overall project performance.

  • EVM Reporting: Produce or review monthly contract performance reports (CPRs), variance analyses, executive briefings, and system documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Determine the reliability and consistency of data as well as identify project performance trends.
